FAQ

  • Do you also transport feral/community cats?
Yes! I can also connect you with trapping resources.
  • Do you transport dogs? Does the clinic spay/neuter dogs?
The clinic does offer low-cost spay/neuter for dogs. However, I do not transport dogs.
  • Help! I don’t have a carrier.
You can purchase one from Walmart, Tractor Supply, etc. If you are not able to do that, I can lend you carriers.
  • What if my cat might be pregnant?
We will prioritize her for the soonest available appointment for spay surgery. Hundreds of thousands of healthy cats and kittens are euthanized every year in America due to lack of space. The overpopulation crisis is overwhelming and our focus is helping the cats already born.
  • Can I surrender my cat to you?
No, but I can help connect you with resources.
  • What towns do you serve?
For Cat Mobile, it’s typically anyone who can meet in St Albans for transport. However, I help people with cats all over the state. Please reach out and I will see if I can make it work.
  • What if I need help paying the clinic fee?
First, thank you for caring about spay/neuter. I know cost is a huge barrier especially when private vets charge $500+ per cat for spay/neuter. If VT-CAN’s $85 fee is inaccessible, please contact me. I will always help find a solution that is accessible for anyone.
